WELCOME TO THE ARTS SOCIETY WEST SUSSEX

The Arts Society West Sussex is a very friendly group, which meets on the first Tuesday of each month for a talk on a variety of subjects related to the Arts. Highly qualified and inspirational speakers bring their subjects alive, across a diverse range of disciplines. The programme of talks this year has ranged from artists to garden design to ballet. The talks are held in Fittleworth Village Hall, where there is good parking and an award winning village shop and cafe next door.

Visits are a popular part of our programme and we have a varied selection of one day visits during the year.

In addition, we have a flourishing Young Arts team who have formed close relationships with our local schools, with the aim of supporting and encouraging children and young people to develop a real interest in and love of the arts. More details can be found under Young Arts here.

As part of the national Arts Society we receive an informative quarterly magazine and are also alerted to exhibitions and study days all over the country.
